On January 23, 2025, President Donald Trump signed an executive order establishing a working group to explore the creation of a National Digital Asset Stockpile. This initiative aims to integrate digital assets into the nation's financial framework, potentially utilizing cryptocurrencies seized by the government. The working group is tasked with evaluating the criteria for such a reserve and is expected to report its findings by July.
